Overview

The 3/8 air brake push-in double union connects two matching sections of 3/8″ nylon tube in a straight run. It provides a compact tube-to-tube repair point without adding threads, changing the tube size or redirecting the air line.

Compatibility and Fitment

Measure the outside diameter of both tube sections before ordering. Each connection requires 3/8″ imperial tube. Do not substitute 10mm metric tube, a reducing union, a bulkhead union or a threaded coupling, as these use different dimensions or installation methods.

Cut each tube end square, remove burrs and push the tube fully into the fitting. Pull back lightly to confirm both collets have engaged. Compliance and Safety

Depressurise the complete air circuit before cutting the tube or releasing either end of the fitting. Inspect the sealing areas for scoring, flattening, contamination and heat damage. Damaged tube may leak despite reaching the internal stop and should be cut back or replaced.

Support the repaired line so it is not pulled sideways through the union. Keep the tube clear of sharp edges, moving components and heat sources, then pressurise the circuit gradually and leak-test both connections.
