ICS Trailers stocks a range of used and new-build shipping containers in 20ft and 40ft options, including standard-height GP containers, high-cube HC containers, and selected side-opening models. Choosing the Right Container
Not sure what GP, HC or new-build used once means? Here’s a quick guide before choosing a container.
GP Containers
General purpose shipping containers. Standard-height and suitable for most storage, stock, tools, equipment and site use.
HC Containers
High-cube containers are approximately one foot higher than GP containers, giving extra internal height for bulkier items.
Used vs New-Build
Used containers suit practical storage. New-build used-once containers are cleaner for offices, workshops and commercial use.

Delivery & Pickup
ICS Trailers can quote delivery based on your address, container size and site access requirements. Delivery method depends on the container type and whether one or multiple containers are required.
20ft Delivery
Generally delivered by tilt tray. Side loader available if it suits the delivery site.
40ft Delivery
40ft containers are delivered by side loader only.
Pickup & Loading
Customers can arrange their own transport, and we can forklift the container onto suitable transport.
Multiple 20ft containers may require alternative delivery arrangements based on access, location and quantity.
