Compatibility and Fitment

Match the 1/4 NPT thread, drain port depth and available operating clearance before ordering. The main mismatch risk is fitting the drain cock to a BSP or metric port that appears similar but uses a different thread form. Install it where the control remains accessible and discharged moisture can leave the tank safely.

Compliance and Safety

Fully depressurise the air system before removing or replacing the drain cock. Apply thread sealant suitable for pneumatic NPT connections and avoid over-tightening the brass body. After installation, pressurise the system and check the closed drain point for leakage.
