Compatibility and Fitment

Confirm both female ports use 3/8 BSP before ordering. The main mismatch risk is confusing BSP with 3/8 NPT because the nominal size appears similar, but the thread forms do not interchange correctly. Also compare the required installed spacing, as the 3/8 BSP x 2″ long hex nipple intentionally places more distance between connected fittings than a short hex nipple.

Start each thread by hand to prevent cross-threading. Then use the centre hex for tightening rather than gripping the threaded ends. Apply a sealant suitable for the system medium and the mating thread design.

Compliance and Safety
