Confirm the components require a 1/4 BSP female-to-male extension and check that 40mm provides the required spacing. The main ordering risks are choosing a short adaptor, reversing the male and female ends, or substituting 1/4 NPT. Although NPT has the same nominal size, its thread form and pitch do not provide the correct BSP connection.
