Overview
The 1/4 NPT Female x 1/2 NPT Male Bulkhead Nipple carries an air connection through a mounting panel, frame bracket or equipment wall. It combines a 1/4 NPT female port with a 1/2 NPT male connection and a separate 3/4-16 mounting section.
The threaded mounting section passes through the panel, while the locknut and washer clamp the fitting securely in position. Hex sections on both sides provide controlled spanner access during installation.

Compatibility and Fitment
Confirm that the connecting ports are 1/4 NPT female and 1/2 NPT male before ordering. NPT and BSP threads can appear similar but use different thread forms and must not be treated as interchangeable.
The 3/4-16 section is the straight mounting thread for securing the fitting through a panel. It is not a 3/4-inch air connection. Check the panel hole diameter, available thread length and surrounding spanner clearance before installation.

Compliance and Safety
Depressurise the air circuit before installing or removing the fitting. Apply a compatible thread sealant to the tapered NPT connections without allowing material to enter the air passage. Tighten through the correct hex section rather than twisting the mounted panel or connected pipework.
After installation, restore pressure gradually and inspect both NPT connections and the bulkhead mounting point for leakage, movement or damaged threads.
