Compatibility and Fitment

Match the cable size, stud diameter and crimp die before ordering. The main mismatch risk with this lug is choosing the right cable size but the wrong stud hole, especially where the cable connects to battery posts, busbars, isolators or earth studs.

Strip the cable cleanly, insert the conductor fully into the barrel and crimp with the correct die for 16mm² copper lugs. Do not crimp over damaged, loose or oxidised cable strands.

Compliance and Safety

Pull-test the crimp after fitting and check that the lug sits flat on the stud face before tightening. Replace the lug if the barrel splits, the cable pulls out, the palm bends badly or the eye hole no longer sits square on the stud.
