Overview

The 6mm air brake union connects two matching sections of 6mm metric nylon tube in a straight line. It repairs or extends a pneumatic run without adding a threaded port or changing the line direction.

Compliance and Safety

Fully depressurise the circuit before cutting the line or pressing either release collar. Push each prepared tube firmly to the internal stop, then pull back gently to confirm both collets have engaged. Support the repaired line so vibration or movement does not pull against the union. Restore air pressure gradually and leak-test both ends before returning the vehicle or trailer to service.
