Overview

The 3/8 x M12 male connector joins 3/8-inch outside-diameter nylon air-brake tubing to an M12 x 1.5 female metric port. Compatibility and Fitment

The 3/8 x M12 male connector requires 3/8-inch OD (9.525mm) nylon tubing and a matching M12 x 1.5 female threaded port. Measure the tubing outside diameter and confirm the port’s thread pitch independently. Do not substitute 8mm or 10mm metric tubing, NPT threads, BSP threads or other metric thread pitches.

Inspect the original connection’s sealing arrangement before installation. A matching thread size does not automatically establish a compatible pneumatic seal.

Depressurise the pneumatic circuit before removing or installing the connector. Cut the nylon tube squarely, discard damaged or distorted ends and insert it fully into the push-in collet.
