Compatibility and Fitment

Select the 3/8 x 10/7mm unequal union only when the two existing tube sizes match its different ends. Measure the imperial line across its outside diameter and check the metric tube markings for 10/7mm. Do not treat 3/8 inch and 10mm as interchangeable sizes, and do not use this fitting when both lines are the same diameter.

Cut both tubes square and remove scratched, flattened or heat-damaged material. Each tube must enter its matching end straight and reach the internal stop without being stretched, twisted or side-loaded.

Compliance and Safety

Depressurise the complete pneumatic circuit before cutting or disconnecting any line. After fitting, restore pressure gradually and inspect both push-in connections for leakage and tube movement. Pull back lightly on each tube to confirm retention, then check that the repaired line remains clear of sharp edges, heat sources and moving components.
