Overview

The 3/8 x 3/8 NPT male connector joins 3/8-inch outside-diameter nylon air-brake tubing to a 3/8 NPTF female threaded port. Its straight brass body connects an imperial air line directly to compatible pneumatic valves, manifolds and other threaded components without a separate adaptor.

Match the 3/8 x 3/8 NPT male connector to 3/8-inch OD (9.525mm) nylon tubing and a 3/8 NPTF female port. Although both connections use the same nominal fraction, the tube measurement describes its actual outside diameter, while the pipe-thread measurement describes a nominal thread size.

Check the original port’s thread form before installation. BSP and NPT threads are not interchangeable, and 10mm metric tubing cannot replace 3/8-inch imperial tube.
