Overview

The 12mm air brake union joins two matching sections of 12mm metric nylon tube in a straight pneumatic line. It provides a direct tube-to-tube repair or extension without changing the line diameter, direction or connection type.

Compatibility and Fitment

Confirm both tube sections measure 12mm across the outside diameter. Do not substitute 1/2in imperial tube, which measures 12.7mm, or nearby 11mm and 15mm metric sizes. Compliance and Safety

Release all air pressure before cutting or disconnecting the line. Cut each tube end square and remove any scored, crushed, oval or heat-damaged section. Push both tubes fully to the internal stops, then pull back gently to confirm the collets have engaged. Support the repaired line and leak-test both connections after restoring pressure.
