The 1/2 x 1/4 NPTF female connector joins 1/2-inch outside-diameter nylon air-brake tube to a 1/4 NPTF male threaded connection. Its straight brass body allows the larger nylon air line to terminate at a smaller pneumatic port without an extra adaptor.

Compatibility and Fitment

Confirm the tubing measures 1/2 inch across its outside diameter, not its internal bore. Confirm the mating port has a 1/4 NPTF male thread. This 1/2 x 1/4 NPTF female connector is not interchangeable with a 1/4-inch tube fitting, a 1/2 BSP thread or a connector carrying an external male pipe thread. Use suitable air-brake nylon tubing.
