Overview

The Sampa Greaseable Fifth Wheel Top is a replacement fifth wheel coupling head for heavy prime movers using compatible JOST JSK37E mounting feet. Designed for 2″ king pins, it features a short operating handle, central lubrication and a steel cushion ring arrangement.

This top-only assembly is rated to a 200kN D-value and 20-tonne imposed load. It allows replacement of the fifth wheel head without purchasing a complete assembly with mounting feet, provided the existing pedestals and pivot connections are suitable.

Compatibility and Fitment

This replacement top is intended for compatible JOST JSK37E fifth wheel feet and mounting arrangements. Check the pedestal type, pivot pin dimensions, mounting bushes and seating arrangement before installation.

The 150mm height applies to the specified fifth wheel configuration. When reusing existing feet, confirm the completed assembly height and king pin engagement clearance.

It is a greaseable fifth wheel design, not a low-maintenance top with replaceable greaseless surface pads. Inspect the existing lubrication connections before fitting.
