Compatibility and Fitment

Category II-YELLOW labels identify radioactive material packages assigned to the applicable Class 7 transport category. Unlike Category I-WHITE, which carries one red category bar, Category II uses two. Category III-YELLOW uses three bars.

Confirm the 250 x 250mm dimensions suit the intended position. Mount the plastic sign securely or apply the sticker to a clean, dry and smooth surface.

Compliance and Safety

The standard Model 7B Category II-YELLOW label requires a yellow upper half and white lower half. The pictured sign reverses these colours and must not be used as a regulated Category II transport label unless the artwork is corrected.

Class 7 labelling also requires accurate contents, activity and transport index information where applicable. Confirm the assigned transport category and complete the required fields before transport.

Trailer Applications

Category II radioactive labels apply to relevant radioactive material packages, overpacks and freight containers. They serve a different purpose from the general Class 7 Model 7D vehicle placard and must not replace required vehicle identification.

Why Choose ICS Trailers

Class 7 markings differ by package category, colour arrangement and required information fields. ICS Trailers can help compare your existing marking and mounting requirements before selecting the plastic or sticker format.

  • Check the required Category II colour arrangement and transport application before ordering.
  • Provide your existing sign details and mounting dimensions if you need assistance selecting the appropriate format.
