Overview

The push pull air valve manually reverses compressed-air flow between two working ports in a five-port, two-position pneumatic circuit. Its G1/4 BSP connection size and compact 200 Series body suit truck and trailer installations where an operator needs direct push-pull control without electrical actuation.

The marked P, A, B, R and S ports separate the pressure supply, working outlets and exhaust paths. Moving the fitted knob changes the internal flow path, making the valve suitable for manually extending and retracting compatible double-acting pneumatic equipment.

Compatibility and Fitment

Confirm the G1/4 BSP thread form, five-port arrangement, push-pull operation and available mounting space before ordering. The main mismatch risks are selecting a visually similar NPT-threaded valve, a three-way valve or a control type with different return behaviour.

Connect pressure supply to P, the controlled circuits to A and B, and the exhaust paths to R and S. Compare the pneumatic symbol and existing air-line routing before removing the old valve, as incorrect port placement can reverse the equipment response or prevent proper exhausting.

Compliance and Safety

Fully depressurise the pneumatic system before disconnecting any line. Keep swarf, thread compound and contamination out of the ports, then support the valve body while tightening the fittings to prevent twisting or housing damage.

Do not exceed the stated 0.8 MPa working pressure. Restore pressure gradually, check every connection for leakage and confirm that the controlled equipment moves and exhausts correctly in both knob positions before returning it to service.
